Quick intro to my Photography Gear

alt text

I began my venture into the Nikon DSLR ecosystem for a couple reasons. I always admired the picture quality coming out of Nikon DSLR systems. A family member gifted me several old but high quality legacy Nikon Manual Focus lenses.

I was an avid Pentax film camera user in the 1980s and 1990s. So while I did consider getting a Pentax DSLR, it was clear the market was owned by Canon and NIkon. My dad taught me photography when I was ten years old. He was a big Pentax and Mamiya user. I also inherited his Mamiya lenses (medium format lenses) which with an adapter, can also be used on Nikon.

So here is my current Gear List With Lenses listed left to right:

  • Nikon D7200 DSLR
  • Nikon D40x DSLR
  • Nikkor 28-105 AF D FX (great for macro)
